Refund Policy

Introduction:

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which the "Journal of Regional Connectivity and Development" (hereinafter referred to as the "Journal") will issue refunds for various services related to manuscript submissions and publications.

Refunds for Manuscript Submissions:

  • Submission Fees: The Journal does not offer refunds for submission fees due to the administrative costs associated with processing submissions.
  • Review Fees: The Journal does not offer refunds for review fees once the manuscript has been assigned to reviewers.
  • Revision Fees: The Journal does not offer refunds for revision fees once the manuscript has been assigned to reviewers for revision.

Refunds for Publications:

  • Publication Fees: The Journal offers full refunds for publication fees in the following cases:
    • The manuscript is withdrawn before the first round of peer review begins.
    • The manuscript is rejected due to an editorial error or an error in the peer-review process.
    • The Journal is unable to publish the manuscript due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Partial Refunds: The Journal may offer partial refunds for publication fees in the following cases:
    • The manuscript is withdrawn after the first round of peer review begins but before the final decision is made.
    • The manuscript is accepted for publication but the author withdraws it before publication.
  • No Refunds: The Journal will not offer refunds for publication fees in the following cases:
    • The manuscript is rejected based on its academic merit or due to author misconduct.
    • The author fails to meet their obligations as outlined in the publication agreement.
